Over 2,500 Compete in OUC Half Marathon And 5K

Eric Walker of Lakeland, Fla. won the 2006 OUC Half Marathon, which wound through the streets of Orlando’s scenic downtown area, starting and finishing at Lake Eola Park.  Jamison Fisher of Winter Park, Fla. won the Women’s Open division of the race, while Jason Spence of _ and Katy Radkewich of Orlando won their respective gender divisions in the 2006 OUC 5K.  Just over 2,500 racers completed one of the two races, held on Saturday, Dec. 2. The Purdue Boilermakers have been selected as the Big Ten Conference�s representative in the 2006 Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando, bowl officials announced today. Champs Sports Bowl Extends Title Sponsorship

Champs Sports and Florida Citrus Sports announced a two-year extension of the title sponsorship for America�s fastest-growing bowl game, the Champs Sports Bowl.  The extension will continue the partnership through 2009. CompassLearning, Inc has donated web-based learning services worth nearly $30,000 worth to the Warren Sapp Computer Lab at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. These services will benefit the numerous educational programs for children and young adults supported annually by the FCSports Foundation.
