Tickets for the 67th Annual Capital One Bowl and 23rd Annual Russell Athletic Bowl are now on sale to the general public. Tickets may be purchased at any Ticketmaster outlet, at the Amway Center box office, by phone (800.745.3000) or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
Capital One Bowl tickets are priced from $50-$92, with special seating in the end zone Uprights Club (featuring unlimited food and drink) at $253. This year’s game will be played on Jan. 1, 2013, and features a matchup of top teams from the Big Ten and Southeastern conferences. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and will be televised on ABC. Last year, South Carolina capitalized on a Hail Mary touchdown before halftime and locked down on defense to hold off Nebraska in the Cornhuskers’ Big Ten bowl debut, 31-13.
Russell Athletic Bowl tickets are priced at $35-$72, with Uprights Club seating at $202.50. Slated for a 5:30 p.m. kickoff on Dec. 28, the game features top-tier teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Big East Conference. It will air on ESPN. In 2011, the final year under the previous Champs Sports Bowl name, Florida State rallied past Notre Dame in the fourth quarter to win 18-14. It was played before the first sellout crowd in bowl history.
