Single-game tickets for both the 69th Annual Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl and the 25th Annual Russell Athletic Bowl are on sale and available to the general public today. Tickets may be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, any Ticketmaster outlet, at the Amway Center box office or by phone (800.745.3000). Tickets in some prime locations, including the first-ever club seating areas in the Orlando Citrus Bowl stadium, are available exclusively through membership with Florida Citrus Sports.
The 2014-15 edition of Orlando Bowl Week will take place in a newly reconstructed Orlando Citrus Bowl stadium, offering patrons amenities never-before available in Orlando and – with two games in four days and endless entertainment and travel options — the city is now the most complete postseason destination for college football fans.
This year’s Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl will be played on Jan. 1, 2015 and features a matchup of top teams from the Big Ten and Southeastern conferences, with the possibility that an ACC team or Notre Dame fill the Big Ten selection. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and will be televised on ABC. The South Carolina Gamecocks knocked off the Wisconsin Badgers, 34-24, in last year’s exciting matchup.
The Silver edition of the Russell Athletic Bowl will take place on Dec. 29, 2014, with the game featuring top-tier teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Big 12 Conference. Slated for a 5:30 p.m. kickoff, the game will air on ESPN. In 2013, the Teddy Bridgewater-led Louisville Cardinals defeated Miami Hurricanes, 36-9.
