National College Football Hall of Fame player and coach Steve Spurrier will join Florida Citrus Sports on December 3 for the fourth installment of its “Chalk Talk” Lunch series presented by CenterState Bank.
Guests at the event will enjoy a catered lunch in the Varsity Club at Camping World Stadium and hear firsthand from Spurrier, who will share behind-the-scenes stories and insight from his time in and around the NCAA. The afternoon will conclude with a Q&A portion with the audience.
Florida Citrus Sports members who RSVP receive complimentary admission to the event. General admission is $50 per person, but members can buy additional tickets for 50 percent off the public price.

Previous Chalk Talk events have included appearances from 2018 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Grant Hill, SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey and former NFL and collegiate football head coach Dave Wannstedt.
A 1966 Heisman Trophy winner, Spurrier’s led Florida to a national title, won six SEC championships and established the Gators as one of the nation’s elite programs in 12 seasons at the helm of his beloved alma mater. On January 4, 2001, Spurrier resigned as Florida’s coach to accept the job as the head coach of the Washington Redskins.
Three years later, Spurrier returned to the NCAA as the head coach at South Carolina. After 11 seasons with the Gamecocks, Spurrier boasted an overall college record of 228-89-2, making him the winningest coach in school history at two Power 5 universities.
Spurrier is currently working as an ambassador and consultant at the University of Florida.
