Feast On The 50 Holds First FCSports Event On New Turf

Over 2500 Florida Citrus Sports members and guests took to the field of the Florida Citrus Bowl tonight for the Feast on the 50, an annual tailgate celebration on the field of Orlando’s historic stadium. The event featured food from Collins Catering, Port-a-Pit Barbecue, and Carraba’s, plus drinks from City Beverages.  An event high 25 alumni groups from Big Ten, SEC, ACC, and Big East schools showed their spirit with festive tents. Florida Citrus Sports scouting season is in full gear, after another successful kickoff dinner at Linda’s La Cantina Steakhouse with featured guest FCSports, Lee Corso scouting season is in full gear. Citrus Bowl Goes To AstroTurf As New Field Installation Begins

The City of Orlando, in concert with Florida Citrus Sports officials, have selected AstroTurf® as the provider of the new playing surface at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. LSU And Penn State To Play In Capital One Bowl
