Marketing Coordinator

Position Description
The Marketing Coordinator will be a part of the daily operations of the Integration Marketing and Communications (IMC) Department, helping to successfully implement strategies and deliverables across Florida Citrus Sports services, events, campaigns and sales initiatives. This position will manage several aspects of concurrent projects. The coordinator will be expected to work independently utilizing internal and external resources to meet department goals. The position will report to the Director of Marketing.

General Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator will execute daily operations of the organization’s internal and external marketing plans, specifically implementing the overall strategy, organizing department operations and providing general support during company events. The position will assist in content production for integrated marketing and communications materials, supporting objectives in membership sales, customer service, business development, fundraising and general business operations. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Working with external creative vendors to help meet the demand of concurrent projects
  • Execute asset management and organization in collaboration with department leadership.
  • Contribute to content development across owned media channels, including web, email and social
  • All other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented self-starter who can thrive in a multi-task, deadline-driven environment. Organization, initiative, and the ability to express thoughts clearly and are essential.


  • At least one year of experience in graphic design
    Strong skills in Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong writing/proofreading skills and familiarity with the Associated Press style
  • At least one year of experience in navigating a heavy workload to meet deadlines
  • Clean driving record and ability to travel throughout the local Central Florida area
  • Ability to occasionally lift boxes, tables, chairs, and other objects up to 50 pounds


  • At least one year of experience working in the sports industry
  • At least one year of experience with email marketing platforms
  • At least one year of experience managing social media platforms for a brand
  • At least one year of experience with HTML editing and web content management systems
  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • At least one year of experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software

This position requires at least forty hours per week and the willingness and ability to work overtime, nights and weekends, including the December holiday season, according to the Florida Citrus Sports event schedule. This position is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week based on a Sunday – Saturday work week.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and will range from $20/hr – $22/hr.
