• There was very little tailgating from Vanderbilt fans. It seemed that they have very little interest in coming out to watch their team lose.
• The city is great, nightlife is great, and the university is beautiful.
• Make sure the university has your name matched correctly with the Bowl you are representing.

Amerigo is consistently good, with a good selection of menu choices. Service was excellent. In addition, the noise level was moderate, making conversation possible. -OpenTable

Elliston Place Soda Shop

This place is a gem in the heart of NASH and walking distance from Vanderbilt University. The ambiance is fantastic like stepping back into a 1950’s Soda shop. Our waitress was exceptional. She sang happy birthday to my 19 year old son and brought us a knife to slice his cookie cake we brought from Vandycakes. Their shakes are the best I have had in a long time and the French fries are delicious. Bonus they have their own parking lot!!! -OpenTable
