Vrbo Citrus Bowl becomes ABC’s most-watched bowl game since 2010

No. 13 Alabama’s 35-16 victory over No. 14 Michigan in the Vrbo Citrus Bowl generated an audience of 14,003,000 viewers on Wednesday, Jan. 1, making the 2020 edition of Orlando’s New Year’s Day classic ABC’s most-watched bowl game since the 2010 National Championship. Among Citrus Bowls all-time, the Alabama win marked the bowl’s fourth-highest audience dating back to at least the 1991 season and its best since the 2008 season (Florida vs. Michigan: 14,780,000 viewers).
