Member-Guest Golf Tournament Raises Nearly $7,000 For FCSports Foundation

FCSports members and sponsors introduced a number of newcomers to the organization at the 2007 Member-Guest Golf Tournament presented by Florida Hospital and the law firm of Roetzel & Andress. The event, held at two courses of the Grand Cypress Resort, raised nearly $7,000 for the Florida Citrus Sports Foundation.

Mike Tyson and Ed Woldert were named grand champions of the event for shooting a combined 13-under 59 on the resort’s North/East Course. Gregg Biro and Jay Degeare were also named as winners on the course with a 10-under 62, and the pairs of Mike Shimer & Rusty More (-11) and Michael Gasdick & Greg Wright (-10) were named the winners on the New Course. Florida Hospital and Roetzel & Andress, presenting sponsors of the tournament, headed up a list of 23 organizations who helped out. From sponsoring holes to providing drinks along the course to providing award prizes and other complimentary items for golfers, the sponsors helped make the tournament a success.
