Regis Philbin To Host Cingular ABC Sports All-America Team Celebration

Regis Philbin, the face to which millions of Americans wake up to every morning, will host the 2005 Cingular ABC Sports All-America Team Celebration on Friday, Dec. 9, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Sound Stage One at Disney’s MGM Studios.

Philbin, the energetic host of “Live with Regis and Kelly”, will be joined by other ABC personalities including Lynn Swann, Bob Griese and Dan Fouts.

Philbin and the ABC Sports contingent will not be the only stars in attendance, as the Celebration will again honor the 25 players selected to the Football Writers Association of America’s (FWAA) All-America Team. Many of the players will be in attendance that night and will mingle with guests and sign autographs.

The annual fund-raiser for the Florida Citrus Sports Foundation raised more than $60,000 last year. This year’s event will again feature the popular Silent Auction which includes everything from tickets to premier sporting events, to vacations at luxurious resorts.

Tickets are $150 per person and $1,500 for a table of 10 guests. Invitations to the event have been mailed to Florida Citrus Sports members. Register now as space is limited.
