Position Description

The Corporate Partnerships Intern will be a part of the daily operations of the Business Development team, assisting with the management and implementation of all sponsors related to Camping World Stadium, FC Series, Florida Blue Florida Classic, Pop-Tarts Bowl, and Cheez-It Citrus Bowl. This position will report to the Director of Corporate Partnerships.

General Responsibilities

The Corporate Partnerships Intern plays a fundamental role within the business development team by assisting in production timelines, creating deliverable documents, tracking all contractual elements within various CRM platforms as well as providing administrative and departmental support.

This position will assist in serving the 75+ sponsors across the Florida Citrus Sports properties with event setup, VIP coordination, fan fest activation, in-stadium integration, proposals, and recaps. This position will also assist in managing and tracking digital and social impressions while building monthly audit reports.

All other duties as assigned by the SVP of Business Development, Director of Corporate Partnerships, and the Coordinator of Corporate Partnerships.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, team player with a confident outlook and enjoys working in a multi-task, fast-paced environment. The role is expected to balance the development of “big picture” ideas with the execution of small details and logistics.

Required

  • Minimum education of working towards a Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum one (1) recent previous internship within the sports or corporate partnerships industries
  • Academic background in Sport Management, Business or Sales
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience navigating a heavy workload to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to lift moderate to heavy event supplies occasionally up to 25 pounds
  • The ability to travel throughout the local Central Florida area

Commitment

Candidates must be able to commit to working the listed amount of hours above for their respective positions through the end of the season, January 31. These positions must be willing and able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and during the December holiday season. The positions are paid by the hour and eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week based on a Sunday – Saturday work week.

Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete a background check and motor vehicle driving check.
