• Great stadium. Lots of noise and energy. We were surprised how many people were on the sideline during pregame. They had us leave the field 15 minutes prior to kick off.
• We had a great time and got to meet Coach Brian Kelly, LSI SID, very nice special, world class venue.
• We talked with Michael Bonnette the SID/Associate AD. He took us on the field prior to game.
• The people would love to come to Orlando.
• The press area is amazing.
• Every fan and staff interaction were cordial and welcoming.
• Reserve a rental car in advance and hope for the best. The NOLA airport has offsite car rentals but is a little cumbersome.
• Be sure to make time to see the LSU band walk down the hill.
• Be sure to try the seafood and some fried ice cream!
• Any Cajun food is a massive hit!

Mike the Tiger, a famed live Bengal Tiger that serves as the graphic image of all LSU Athletics teams, resides between Tiger Stadium and the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

In 2005, a $3.7 million 15,000-square foot environment was created during the reign of Mike V that included lush planting, a live oak tree, a waterfall and a stream evolving from a rocky backdrop overflowing with plants and trees.

The backdrop of Mike’s Habitat features an Italianate tower – a campanile – that creates a visual bridge to the architectural vernacular that is the underpinning of the entire LSU campus. This spectacular habitat allows for state-of-the-art technologies, research, conservation and husbandry programs, as well as educational, interpretive and recreational activities. It is, in essence, one of the largest and finest Tiger habitats in the United States.

Pass the time on the LSU Parade Ground, a pristine greenspace on campus for relaxing, recreation and events. The grassy area is anchored by the LSU Student Union, Memorial Tower and more campus attractions. On the parade grounds you’ll find people sunbathing, picnicking, playing sports, tailgating for LSU football games, and more.
