“Located in Chestnut Hill’s The Street, our two-story establishment is home to our fish market and restaurant with a large raw bar, open kitchen, bar with retractable glass walls, private event space, and a patio overlooking Hammond Pond. Whether dining upstairs, grabbing Legal to-go, or shopping at our market, it’s a seafood haven that you won’t want to miss. Enjoy local favorites, including Boston’s best clam chowder, oysters and raw bar, lobster, grilled and fried seafood, as well as steaks, pasta and more!” –Trip Advisor
“The Warren Tavern, opened in 1780, claims to be the oldest watering hole in the state. (The Green Dragon Tavern, also on this list, might like to have a word about that.) Famous regulars included George Washington and Paul Revere, and it is one of the first buildings constructed after the British burned down Charlestown. It’s nice to know that our forefathers had priorities.” – Eater
“Located in South Boston, where it has been for over a century, Amrheins boasts the oldest hand-carved bar in America as well as the first draft beer pump in Boston. And, as of a few years ago, you can also start the day here steeped in history: The restaurant absorbed landmark Southie diner Mul’s, and the diner now serves breakfast and lunch out of Amrheins seven days a week” – Eater

This is the silent library at Boston College and offers an impressive academic setting as students submerged in prominent architecture. The design of this library is fitting, since it is home to the Art Library and was created to sustain the efforts of students studying Art, Architecture, Museum Studies, and Photography.
