Located on the Virginia Tech campus is nearly six acres of greenery. This space is used for teaching purposes and to welcome public visitors. Visitors can watch a waterfall, walk on the walking trails, and take in the beauty that Virginia has to offer.

McAffe Knob is one of the most photographed parts of the Appalachian Trail and is a must-see for visitors in the area. The hike is about 4.4 miles but the views at the top are well worth it.
