2011 Member Service Award Winners Honored

FCSports recognized members who gave superlative efforts during the 2010-11 season last night during the 2011 Member Celebration.  Rob Yacabucci of United Space Alliance was named Rookie of the Year, Bryan Cole of Super Holiday Tours was named Chairman of the Year for his work with the Orlando Citrus Parade Committee, and Shawn Cavalieri of Recovery First was named Volunteer of the Year.

Yacabucci was one of the most prolific rookies in recent memory, making a huge impact on the organization in his first year.  He was instrumental in managing the entire volunteer program at Feast on the 50, creating maps and layouts so volunteers knew exactly what their shifts entailed.  He also took vacation time during Orlando Bowl Week to devote all his hours to FCSports.  This included registration setup and execution for the brand new Kuykendall Gardner Tailgate Terrace, moving tables and chairs, directing volunteers and even driving a citrus float in the Orlando Citrus Parade with a broken hand.

Another Feast and Parade veteran, Cavlieri was named Rookie of the Year after just three years of membership.  A part of the Membership Sales Committee and Team Selection Committee, he is a familiar face at most FCSports events and a rising young star among the membership.

Cole has served as chairman of the Orlando Citrus Parade Committee for several years and has been a part of FCSports since 1991.  There’s no better way to celbrate his 20-year anniversary with our organization than by honoring him for all the hard work he has put in to make the parade a staple in downtown Orlando.

Member Service Awards are determined by a vote of the FCSports staff at the conclusion of each year.  Well-deserved congratulations are due to all three winners as well as all members who volunteered their time and energy during 2010-11.  We couldn’t do it without you and we hope to se you all again in 2011-12.
