2014-15 Membership Opens; First Access To Bowl Games In The New Citrus Bowl
Ticket packages for the first bowl games in the newly-rebuilt Orlando Citrus Bowl are on sale today. The packages are available via Florida Citrus Sports (FCSports) membership, which includes priority access to the best seats in the house for the annual college football games, the Capital One Bowl and Russell Athletic Bowl.
Members will be among the first to enjoy all of the amenities of the new stadium which dramatically transform the gameday experience with wider aisles, seats with more legroom and individual chair back seating in an all-new lower bowl. New premium club spaces, loge boxes and a 10,000-square-foot deck highlight a new plaza level with an unobstructed 360-degree path around the stadium. State-of-the-art video displays, a vibrant open-air façade, and a grand plaza entrance at Rio Grande Avenue and Church Street will provide a new gateway for fans.
The only way to reserve new club seats and suites or secure priority access to the new lower level for the bowl games is through Florida Citrus Sports membership. Approximately 1,000 current members began renewing their commitment to Central Florida’s bowl season at last night’s annual Member Celebration, with new members able to make their reservation for seating priority starting today.
In addition to the new stadium, matchups from college football’s top conferences continue to ensure Central Floridians will witness some of the best postseason football and gameday pageantry. The Russell Athletic Bowl will now feature the ACC’s top post-College Football Playoff (CFP) pick — including the option of selecting Notre Dame — versus the Big 12’s second pick outside the CFP. The Capital One Bowl will continue to be a part of New Year’s Day, matching the top non-CFP picks from the SEC against the Big Ten.
New premium spaces include three options: The Indoor Clubs, Open-Air Clubs and Loge Boxes. Members in these areas will receive tickets to the FCSports bowl games as well as the right of first refusal to purchase their seats, or comparable seats, to other events in the stadium. All clubs include private restrooms, upgraded food and beverage options, wifi and state-of-the-art video displays.
The Indoor Clubs are at midfield on each side of the stadium. Each offers a high-end, air conditioned club experience with all-inclusive, high-end food & beverage (for FCSports bowl games) and midfield sideline seats. Unique to all of the sideline clubs, fans have a view of the interior stadium from nearly any spot in the premium club space, not just from their seats.
The Open-Air Club provides prime sideline seating with a club experience that provides all of the gameday sound and ambiance. Pay as you go, premium concessions with a full bar, ensure comfort and convenience along with some of the best seats in the house.
Twenty Loge Boxes, each with seating for four, are along the Plaza level on each sideline. With in-seat service and a semi-private seating area in the heart of the action, Loge Boxes include food & beverage for both FCSports bowl games and right of first refusal to purchase the seats for other events in the stadium.
An all-new indoor club in the south end zone will be complete in early 2015. FCSports members will be given priority access to purchase tickets to this space once complete.
In addition, the Dex Imaging Skyline Suite on the stadium’s east side provides a premium experience with outside, covered seating and high comfort cushioned seats. Members in this area enjoy all-inclusive food and beverage with a full bar and tickets to all events in the stadium. This popular option provides a suite experience for individual members who do not need the capacity of a full suite.
A limited number of suites are available on the east and west sides offering private seating, premium food and beverage options along with private restrooms. In the new stadium, all suites will have new cushioned seating and outdoor, under-cover seating areas in front of an premium indoor suite space.
Packages start at $485 which includes two tickets in the stadium’s new lower level and reserved parking for both the Russell Athletic Bowl and Capital One Bowl.
