2025-26 LEADERSHIP UPDATE: Comes Begins Term as President, Line Clary Moves to Chairman
Florida Citrus Sports officially launched its 2025-26 season on April 1 with a leadership transition as Brian Comes, Vice President of Field Operations for the Americas at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, assumed the role of the organization’s 48th board President. He succeeds Sharon Line Clary of AdventHealth, who begins a one-year term as Chairman, while Steve Castino of Rehmann moves into the Past Chairman role.
At Hyatt, Comes leads operations for 20 full-service hotels across the Americas, driving strategic initiatives that enhance performance, elevate guest experiences and strengthen organizational culture. A James Madison graduate and seasoned hospitality executive, Comes has spent more than three decades with Hyatt, including 10 years as GM of the Hyatt Regency Orlando, a longtime Bowl Week team hotel.
A member of FCS’ Executive Committee since 2022, Comes also previously served as Vice President and Treasurer and has played an important role in strengthening ties between FCS and the tourism and hospitality sectors—critical areas for the organization’s continued growth.
In her new role as Chairman, Line Clary, AdventHealth’s SVP of Community Impact & Partnership Engagement, will remain on the executive committee and oversee FCS’ Team Selection Committee, while Castino, Rehmann’s Chief Growth Officer, will continue to serve in an advisory role.
Looking ahead, Jim Hunter—Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Marriott Vacations Worldwide—has been named FCS’ President-Elect and will assume the President role in April 2026. In addition, Joaquin “Quino” Martinez, President & CEO of Lowndes, has been promoted from the elected board to the Executive Committee, where he will serve as Secretary.
Finally, FCS also welcomed two new members to its elected board of directors:
- Diana Booker, Rehmann
- Margaret Hill, West Lakes Partnership
Booker, a past recipient of FCS’ Howard Palmer Award, has been an FCS member since 1995 and previously served on the Board of Directors from 2002-08. Hill, a proud Bethune-Cookman graduate, is a retired educator and social worker who also serves as president of the Rock Lake Homeowners Association, working tirelessly to serve residents in The Communities of the West Lakes near Camping World Stadium.
