Position Description
The Sales, Service, and Ticketing Department Intern primarily assists Service with the day-to-day operations. This position involves Bowl Season prep and execution to ensure Florida Citrus Sports’ customers, including ticket purchasers, members, suite clients, and premium single event purchasers, receive best-in-class customer service. The position reports to the SVP of Ticket Sales, Service, and Ticketing.

General Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for Team Selection Committee as directed by Service Team, including, but not limited to, preparing weekly scout packets, updating content for Team Selection Committee, and assisting with administrative duties related to the Team Selection Committee
  • Assist in programming for all Team Selection Committee In-person and Team Selection Committee Meetings
    Assist in the management of the Team Selection Committee Smartsheet Portal
  • Assist in the development of Salesforce reports, analytics, and dashboards to support and monitor all Sales, Service, and Ticketing initiatives.
  • Assist with inbound and outbound communication via phone and email.
  • Serve as a Live Chat agent and provide support for customer questions during increased periods of activity.
  • Assist the Service Team with preparing all premium spaces for event days.
  • Assist with all member events and non-member events (Cheez-It Bowl, Citrus Bowl, Florida Cup, Florida Blue Florida Classic, etc.)
  • Manage and inventory gifting merchandise.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following credentials:

  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Event or Hospitality Management, Customer Service
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
  • Experience in prioritizing a heavy workload and the ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift moderate-to-heavy event supplies occasionally up to 25 pounds
  • The ability to travel throughout the local Central Florida area

Commitment
This is a seasonal position and runs from Monday, July 6th, 2026, through Friday, January 15, 2027 and requires the willingness and ability to work occasional overtime, nights, weekends and/or holidays according to the Florida Citrus Sports events schedule. This position will be paid hourly at a rate of $17.50 and is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week based on a Sunday – Saturday work week.

The selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a background check and motor vehicle driving check.
