FCSports Members Partake at Sip ‘N’ Stroll

FCSports’ annual wine tasting event, now in its second year as the Sip ‘N’ Stroll Around The Bowl, took place on Thursday, Oct. 26, in the Club Suites at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium.  The even helped select the wines and champagne served during future FCSports events in the 2006-07 season, and also featured a charity wine raffle.

A crowd of 250 members and their guests gathered in the Club Suites to enjoy an evening of food and drink, thanks to event sponsor ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, beer provider City Beverages, and caterers Gentry’s, Gooding’s, Black Tie to BBQ, Bistro Gourmet at McDonalds, Darden Restaurants and Harvey’s Bistro.  Over the course of the night, attendees voted for their favorite of four champagne, red and white wine options.  The top choices in all three categories, listed below, will be used to stock hospitality suites and victory parties for the Capital One and Champs Sports Bowls, and also be served at numerous other FCSports events.

In addition to the wine tasting, the event featured a raffle with proceeds benefitting the Florida Citrus Sports Foundation.  Winners received gift baskets stocked with wines, cheeses and beer.  A full list of winners is available below. 

The Sip ‘N’ Stroll continues to be a popular and enjoyable event, one of the many perks of Florida Citrus Sports membership.  Thanks are due to all the event caterers, City Beverages, and especially ABC Fine Wine & Spirits for providing the wine and champagne.
