Florida Citrus Sports Announces Staff Promotions Across Key Departments
Florida Citrus Sports (FCS) announced a series of staff promotions reflecting the organization’s continued growth and commitment to operational excellence across its world-class sporting and entertainment events portfolio.
Gabriel Park has moved to Executive Vice President, Business Development, where he will continue to lead the organization’s corporate partnership strategy. Park, who joined Florida Citrus Sports in 2015, has developed and stewarded high-profile sponsorships and multi-year agreements that have grown FCS’ flagship events like the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, Pop-Tarts Bowl, and Florida Blue Florida Classic. He has also been central to stadium sponsorship efforts, including naming rights for the current Camping World Stadium.
Chrissy Elliott has advanced to Executive Vice President, Event Operations, overseeing event logistics, hospitality, on-the-ground execution and leveraging local partnerships for all Florida Citrus Sports events. Elliott’s leadership was central to FCS’ growth into new event verticals over the last few years. Most recently, she oversaw the restructuring of the new Event Operations department, which improved efficiency and performance across the core FCS portfolio.
In addition, Ethan Klohr has moved to Manager, Corporate Partnership Activations. In this role, Klohr will continue supporting FCS’s partners through tailored event integrations and fulfillment strategies that deliver meaningful brand exposure and fan engagement.
Tara Staley is now Manager, Event Operations, expanding her responsibilities within the event operations team. Staley has taken on leadership roles in crafting fan experiences on game day and the organization’s support of the Pop Warner Super Bowl and Cheer & Dance National Championships.
“These promotions reflect not only the talent and dedication of Gabe, Chrissy, Ethan, and Tara but also our organization’s commitment to professional development and internal growth,” said Steve Hogan, CEO of Florida Citrus Sports. “Each individual brings a unique skill set and a passion for delivering best-in-class experiences to our guests, partners, and the Central Florida community.”
FCS is a not-for-profit membership-based organization dedicated to driving tourism and economic impact to the Central Florida region through signature events, including the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, Pop-Tarts Bowl, Florida Blue Florida Classic, FC Series, and more.
