Florida Citrus Sports members have access to multiple different committees and volunteer opportunities throughout the year. No matter your interests, we’ve got an opportunity for you. See a full list of the committees below.

  • Auction Committee –Supports all facets of Florida Citrus Sports auctions and raffles, including, but not limited to, solicitation of auction items; selling of raffle tickets; set-up of auctions; staffing of auctions; and coordination of all activities with the Florida Citrus Sports staff.
  • Media Relations Committee – Supports Florida Citrus Sports’ media operations surrounding all games, especially during bowl week. Areas of responsibility include credential check-in, registration and media hospitality, press box operations and sideline photo areas on gameday.
  • Military Affairs Committee – Supports local military and veterans’ organizations by welcoming and honoring service members at Florida Citrus Sports events.
  • Pageantry & Presentation Committee – Assists with pregame and halftime shows, college bands, mascots and cheer squads during bowl week. This includes practices, parades, pep rallies, battle of the bands, gameday activities and in-game performances.
  • Stadium Accessibility Committee – Works with the Florida Citrus Sports staff to ensure patrons with disabilities and their guests enjoy equal access to Camping World Stadium.
  • Team Selection Committee – Visits Florida Citrus Sports’ conference partner football teams with the goal of representing the organization and establishing meaningful relationships with participating institutions, league officials, fans and media while promoting the bowl games and the Central Florida region and the West Lakes community near Camping World Stadium.   • Team Support Committee – Provides game week and gameday assistance for participating teams and officials for the Florida Blue Florida Classic and the bowl games. Members of this committee work to facilitate high quality medical care, practice facilities, equipment rentals, headsets, schedules, ice, drinks, etc. The overall goal of the committee is to ensure the teams have the best bowl experience possible while in Orlando.
  • Volunteer Committee – This committee serves to enhance the overall volunteer experience by increasing awareness of volunteer opportunities, growing the Florida Citrus Sports member volunteer force, examining committee structures and developing a system to reward volunteers.
