Florida Classic Consortium, Florida Citrus Sports Extend Partnership

ORLANDO, Florida — Bethune-Cookman University and Florida A&M University have reached an agreement to keep the Florida Blue Florida Classic in Orlando through the 2026 season. The renewal between the Florida Classic Consortium, made up of leadership from both universities, and Orlando-based Florida Citrus Sports was announced Wednesday by Bethune-Cookman University Interim President Dr. Lawrence Drake II and Florida A&M University President Dr. Larry Robinson. Bethune-Cookman tops Florida A&M 31-27 in 40th Florida Blue Florida Classic

Bethune-Cookman won its ninth straight game over arch-rival Florida A&M Saturday afternoon, holding off the 13th-ranked Rattlers 31-27 in front of a crowd of 55,730 at Camping World Stadium in the 40th edition of the Florida Blue Florida Classic.
