On Monday, June 3, Florida Citrus Sports kicked off its 25th annual MVP Summer Camp, one of the organization’s most important annual contributions to the community. Florida Citrus Sports and the City of Orlando will partner on a full renovation of historic Lake Lorna Doone Park in the West Lakes neighborhoods of Orlando’s District 5. The redevelopment will begin with a groundbreaking event on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. The Lake Lorna Doone Park renovations were unanimously approved by the Orlando City Council in September. Our events wouldn’t be possible without the help of our volunteers. As a small token of our appreciation, Florida Citrus Sports threw a Volunteer Appreciation Party to celebrate the end of another successful season. Every year we are humbled by the amount of time and energy this group dedicates to our community. Thank you to everyone who volunteered this year.
