The University of Maryland Terrapins have been selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference�s representative in the 2006 Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando, bowl officials announced today. Over 2,500 Compete in OUC Half Marathon And 5K

Eric Walker of Lakeland, Fla. won the 2006 OUC Half Marathon, which wound through the streets of Orlando’s scenic downtown area, starting and finishing at Lake Eola Park.  Jamison Fisher of Winter Park, Fla. won the Women’s Open division of the race, while Jason Spence of _ and Katy Radkewich of Orlando won their respective gender divisions in the 2006 OUC 5K.  Just over 2,500 racers completed one of the two races, held on Saturday, Dec. 2. Florida Citrus Sports and ESPN announced the Champs Sports Bowl will be played in primetime this December.
