Thousands Entertained At 25th Annual Orlando Citrus Parade presented by Delta Air Lines

A crowd of thousands filled the streets of Downtown Orlando on Friday, Dec. 30 for the 25th Annual Orlando Citrus Parade presented by Delta Air Lines. Fans lined the curbs on Orange Avenue and packed the grandstand seats in front of city hall to join in “Celebrating 25 Years” of the Orlando Citrus Parade. Record TV Exposure Scheduled For Orlando Citrus Parade

At least 125 television markets have been cleared to carry the 25th Annual Orlando Citrus Parade presented by Delta Air Lines on a nationally syndicated basis. The total represents a 16% increase over the record 115 stations that carried last year’s parade. Close to 3,000 Runners Compete in the OUC Half Marathon & 5k

Ideal conditions with cool temperatures and little wind greeted a record crowd of nearly 3,000 runners at the 29th annual OUC Half Marathon and 5k. The Half Marathon started promptly at 7:30 a.m. with the 5k beginning 10 minutes later. Patrick Marshall of Orlando took home top honors in the race, covering the flat, fast 13.1 mile course in 1:13:41. He edged second place finisher Stanley Maina of Orlando by eleven seconds.
