NC State tops WVU 23-7 in Champs Sports Bowl

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) If this was Russell Wilson’s football finale, he sure made the most of it. Wilson threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns, leading North Carolina State past No. 22 West Virginia 23-7 in the Champs Sports Bowl on Tuesday night. NC State Pep Rally Canceled

Due to inclement weather, the North Carolina State band and cheerleaders will not make it to Orlando in time for tomorrow’s Champs Sports Bowl Pep Rally.  As a result, the NC State portion of the event (5:45-6:30 p.m.) has been cancelled.  Florida Citrus Sports and the Champs Sports Bowl regret the inconvenience.  The band and cheerleaders are scheduled to arrive in time for the game on Tuesday.
