The Russell Athletic Bowl will host the first available selection after the College Football Playoff system from the ACC, including Notre Dame, beginning with the 2014-15 season. The Russell Athletic Bowl has historically featured some of college football’s best players and teams since moving to Orlando in 2000. The 2014 Capital One Bowl will be played at 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Jan. 1. The game will air nationally on ABC. It will be the final bowl games played in the current Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium as a near complete reconstruction will follow this year’s Orlando Bowl Week.
