On behalf of its Selection Committee, Florida Citrus Sports’ Chairman Michel Champagne and CEO Steve Hogan announced today that the South Carolina Gamecocks and Nebraska Cornhuskers have been selected to play in the 2012 Capital One Bowl. The New Year’s classic will kick off at 1:00 p.m. on January 2nd from Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando and will be televised nationally by ESPN. Florida Citrus Sports CEO Steve Hogan and Atlantic Coast Conference Commissioner John Swofford have announced a partnership agreement for the 2010-13 Champs Sports Bowls. Florida State University has reached an agreement with Florida Citrus Sports to play a neutral site football game in Orlando, pending a renovation of the city�s Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium.
