NC State Pep Rally Canceled

Due to inclement weather, the North Carolina State band and cheerleaders will not make it to Orlando in time for tomorrow’s Champs Sports Bowl Pep Rally.  As a result, the NC State portion of the event (5:45-6:30 p.m.) has been cancelled.  Florida Citrus Sports and the Champs Sports Bowl regret the inconvenience.  The band and cheerleaders are scheduled to arrive in time for the game on Tuesday.

Ten-year-old Emily Martinez from Bear Lake Elementary in Altamonte Springs was awarded the top prize in the Orlando Citrus Parade Drawing Contest and will ride in the Dec. 30 parade as Honorary Grand Marshal.
